Installation of the Daito DCM1050 CNC Beam Drill/Coping Robot has been completed.
This is the first Daito machine in the world to combine a drill line with a robotic coping system. While Daito have manufactured both drill line and coping mechanisms in the past, these systems have remained seperate and have never been implemented into a single machine operation until now.
The Daito machine is capable of processing complex cutting and drilling tasks, executing jobs with efficiency and precision. While the DCM series will aid all facets of fabrication, the new robotic machine will also be instrumental in helping the Jensen Steel team complete a range of procedures, particularly the drilling system which will accomodate seismic and bridge quality holes in place of heated cuts.
