Our Community
Helping build and unite communities through our work, and providing sponsorships and donations to these communities, has always been a core part of our business model. And a part that we are immensely proud of.
Shaping Growth We deliver much more than structural steel solutions to the projects we are involved in. We help shape the communities we are working in and are part of the growth in these areas.
Communities rely on key services like airports, apartments, banks, hospitals, ports, sports stadiums, supermarkets and universities, to name a few. And we are proud to have been involved in such projects across New Zealand, particularly in the Bay of Plenty, where many of the major buildings are Jensen Steel Structures. |
Fostering Relationships Strong, cohesive and collaborative relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We have been in operation for over 30years, and during this time we have established and grown a number of relationships locally in the Bay of Plenty as well as across the North Island.
Our structures are used in unique environments such as the kiwifruit industry, ports, agricultural and schools - with such environments come unique challenges. We embrace such situations and use them to help shape our processes and build on our relationships. |
Empowering young people to live happy and healthy lives After looking for a charity that was local to the Bay of Plenty and that would help young men working through issues they face in their lives, we came across Live for More, and it was aligned to our values.
Live for More’s vision is for confident and hopeful rangatahi free from their pasts and empowered to live fulfilling lives. The organisation supports the most vulnerable young men between 17 and 25years who are caught up in lifestyles of crime and drug/alcohol abuse and provides clinical support and individual goal setting, with the opportunity to participate in their Tai Watea surf therapy programme. While our first donation was in 2019, we look forward to continuing to support such a great cause in the future. |
Proud to put our name on it Currently, we have sponsorship with Bay of Plenty Steamers Rugby which is two-fold. We are the naming rights sponsor of the number 9/halfback and in addition, our sponsorship supports local communities with the Steamers rugby team visiting schools and helping out at club rugby. This continues an ongoing relationship we have had with the club for a number of seasons.
